About Miracle Club International
The Miracle Clubs Movement exists because of miracles by God in the lives of seven Christians at different times over the past 35 years before we even knew each other. In 2008, God found ways to bring us, the seven co-founders, into direct contact with each other and to develop close relationships. All of us were Christians of various churches and types, although one had been an atheist for 26 years before finding God after a miraculous prayer-healing of his dying dog in 1983. The blessings that have been happening to help start this Miracle Clubs Movement are far beyond the probabilities of "random" coincidences.
David S. has acted as the main volunteer Organizer and catalyst for the Miracle Clubs Movement. However, all seven co-founders (David S., Bill, Dave H., Paul, Jim, Jo, and Teri) have contributed significantly as volunteers to the initial development of the MC Movement. Each of us has given time, talent, ideas, experiences, love, and some money as volunteers to foster this new, Christian movement that emphasizes how God intervenes today in people's lives. Since our founding in September 2008, other key people who have helped greatly in our getting established include Greg, Chris W., Randy, Naz, and another Chris G. and Dave A.
On September 29, 2008, David Smith formally incorporated Miracle Club International Inc. online as a nonprofit organization in Florida. We have applied for tax-exempt status from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 501(C)(3) religious association. David S. serves as President and CEO of this association (General Services Coordinator). Dave Honan and Bill Kroeck serve as MCI Vice-Presidents, with Bill also being MCI Treasurer.
Our attorney, acting as pro bono (without payment) Registered Agent for MCI Inc., is Gregory C. Meissner, Esq., of Bradenton, Florida---a very good man and fine attorney. His instructions helped David S. incorporate MCI Inc. online at very low cost (state of Florida fees only).
Our excellent web design company is Last 7 Studios (last7studios.com), especially staff members Chris Wowak (owner and CEO), Naz Morris, and Chris Graser. They have been acting in large part pro bono, in creating and updating this website. One or more of this L7S team has also helped create our logo and contributed to the main text on this website. One of the miracles (MA#8) described on our Miracle Accounts page took place in their offices with three L7S staff as Miracle Witnesses.
All local Miracle Clubs are independent, but are urged to register with the Miracle Club International association if they choose to be part of the Miracle Clubs Movement and use the services and guidance of MC International. Membership in a local Miracle Club involves NO necessary dues or fees, because expenses are minimal. Small voluntary donations are sought at each meeting. Because running a website and an incorporated nonprofit organization involves substantial expenses, membership in the Miracle Club International Inc. costs USD $7.00 per year or the equivalent in other major currencies. To be a Registered local Miracle Club, three or more members must be current members of Miracle Club International.
The key benefit of MCI membership is supporting our good works: We strive to increase and spread globally more faith in our Triune God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) Who is still causing miracles and blessings in our lives today. God does this especially for those who have strong faith in Him, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and live lives that please God and that He rewards.
Other MCI membership benefits include free access to Miracle Accounts and to basic documents for running a local Miracle Club, significant discounts on the purchase of MCI logo objects, access to various Christian spiritual resources and prayer support, voting in MCI elections, use of the MCI logo by a local Miracle Club, listing of local Miracle Club meetings and events on this website, tax-exempt status for a local Miracle Club under the umbrella of MCI, opportunities to help contribute or refer Miracle Accounts to this website, opportunities to help the MC Movement by volunteering with MCI, and the opportunity to start a local Miracle Club in the Christian church of your choice with MCI staff help.
