Some miracles reported here happened so long ago that the evidence is no longer available in the form of documentation, X-rays, MRIs, laboratory test results, living witnesses who can be found and will cooperate, etc. Other miracles reported here happened with only the Miracle-Recipient as a direct witness. But in these cases the person involved has provided or will provide a sworn affidavit of the truth of the account.

In these cases, we also try to get affidavits from those who were "indirect witnesses," observing the results somehow or verifying some part of the miracle account.

Miracle Witnesses are willing to take polygraph (“lie-detector”) tests to confirm the truthfulness of the general content of each Miracle Account that is posted here.

We ask the user/reader of this website to be open-minded to the fact that MIRACLES COME IN ALL "SIZES." For us, the "size" of a miracle refers to the degree of improbability (including "impossibility") according to contemporary scientific knowledge. The literal meaning of a miracle is some event that current scientific knowledge cannot reasonably explain, other than by appealing to "chance"---which is really no explanation at all. But what science "knows" changes markedly over time.

We take a broad view of miracles in our Miracle Club Movement and on this website: Some miracle accounts here will be about events of the "scientifically inexplicable" or "impossible" variety.  We call these “major miracles.” But others will be more modest, even “small" miracles that non-believers will easily label as "just coincidences." The more scientifically inclined and skeptical users/readers, especially any fundamentalist atheists, will mistakenly attribute all of these to "chance" or to false and unverifiable reporting, most probably.

We believe that ALL the current miracles and blessings we post on this specific website page, whatever their size, truly happened. We witness here that God does the “impossible” in human terms. We also gratefully acknowledge God's intervention in our lives by certain other "possible" but rather improbable events with positive, beneficial outcomes.

We believe that GOD INTERVENES IF, WHEN, AND HOW HE PLEASES IN HUMAN LIVES AND IN OTHER EVENTS IN THE WORLD. BUT GOD DOES THIS VERY SELECTIVELY TO SHOW HIS LOVE FOR US BUT ALSO HIS JUSTNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS, ALLOWING THE USUAL “LAWS OF NATURE” TO AFFECT MOST PEOPLE AND MOST OUTCOMES ON EARTH.

Major supernatural miracles are relatively rare. But moderate and smaller miracles and blessings by God (still highly improbable according to modern science) are fairly common among those with strong faith in God and who live rightly. Miracles by God do not have to involve resurrections of people from the dead or the instant healing of lepers, as by Jesus in the Bible. We intend to report on this website what we believe to be reliable accounts of God’s miracles and blessings of all sizes.

Please have an open mind in accepting that MANY CURRENT MIRACLES OF ALL SIZES ARE NOT INSTANTANEOUS, ALTHOUGH SOME ARE. (For instance, if you leave your email address at the lower right sidebar, you can read Miracle Account #1.) Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, was infinitely powerful and had total faith in God the Father. Thus, Jesus was able to do many instantaneous miracles of a major sort.

Miracles are performed by the power of God through His grace, usually based on the faith of someone involved (Miracle Recipient; Miracle Witness; Miracle Guide---someone close to God who prays for the miracle or blessing; one individual can have any combination of these roles).

Some miracles or blessings take longer to happen because our faith in God is weaker. Miracles are still miracles if they are really improbable events but take some time---like days, weeks, months or more to occur. The key distinguishing feature is always the improbability of the outcome(s) in terms of current scientific knowledge, including medical science.

Jesus Christ was also able to do nearly all of His miracles with no auxiliary aids because of His total faith in God the Father and His being the One with the Triune God (the Trinity) Himself. But we humans usually have much weaker faith in God and in Jesus Christ, as the Son of God.  FOR CURRENT MIRACLES, WE HUMANS OFTEN NEED AUXILIARY AIDS, such as medicines, treatments, therapies, etc.  (“God helps those who help themselves.”)

The key distinguishing feature of such “aided-miracles” is always the improbability of the resulting outcomes in terms of current scientific (including medical) knowledge. Even Jesus at times used auxiliary aids in a few of his miracles, such as the feeding of thousands of people with a few loaves and fishes.

God loves all people, and indeed all life, in our belief.  He blesses us all with the very gift of life.  God also seems to bless many people who, in our human view, do not “deserve” their good fortune. No one of us knows the mind of God or His reasons for what He does or does not do. But most outcomes occur by the laws of nature, including human nature.

All events and outcomes on earth have God’s consent and notice (see Matthew 10:29; Amplified Bible). Yet many events and outcomes do not reflect God’s best plan or wishes for individuals or groups, even whole societies. God-given free will and the influence of "the evil one", "lucifer", "the great fallen angel", play a part in most events and outcomes.  The devil is ”the prince of this world,” according to Jesus (John 12:31; 16: 11).

Like a human father or mother, God loves all of His children (all of us humans as higher beings).  But also like a human father or mother, God loves some of His children more than others, given their nature and actions. One example from the Old Testament of the Bible showing this variation in degrees of God’s love for humans would include His answering of Jabez’ simple prayer for blessings, as reported in I Chronicles 4: 9-10.

An example from the New Testament showing variations in the degrees of God’s love for people would be Jesus’ statement (John 14: 21), quoted below, that God loves those people more who love and obey His Son, Jesus Christ. Also, when Jesus speaks of the Final Judgment at His Second Coming (Matthew 25: 31-46) about separating the “sheep,” those who will have “eternal life,” from the “goats,” those who will receive “eternal punishment,” clearly God loves the people He saves more than the ones he damns.

THERE ARE TWO IMPORTANT FORCES AT WORK HERE IN AFFECTING WHO GOD LOVES MORE: (1) GOD GAVE HUMANS ABSOLUTE FREE WILL, AND WE OFTEN MAKE VERY SELFISH RATHER THAN LOVING CHOICES, DISPLEASING GOD, GIVEN JESUS’ GREAT COMMANDMENT (Matthew 22: 37-40);  (2) GOD HAD HUMANS ARISE ON A PLANET WHERE THERE IS A POWERFUL FORCE OF EVIL (SATAN, THE DEVIL, LUCIFER, THE GREAT FALLEN ANGEL, THE EVIL ONE, THE ENEMY, THE ADVERSARY, THE FATHER OF LIES, THE DECEIVER, THE DESTROYER; see John 12:31; 16:11; I Peter 5:8) TRYING TO INFLUENCE US TOWARD UNNECESSARY HARM AND OTHER SIN, WHICH ARE EVIL; AS A RESULT, WE OFTEN (FOR SOME PEOPLE, MOST OF THE TIME) CHOOSE TO THINK, SAY, AND DO EVIL PERSISTENTLY RATHER THAN GOOD PERSISTENTLY, DISPLEASING GOD.

Based on Jesus’ words reported in the Bible gospels, we believe that GOD PROBABLY INTERVENES TO DO MIRACLES OF VARIOUS SIZES MORE OFTEN FOR THOSE WHO PLEASE HIM MORE AND THOSE WHO GOD LOVES MORE AS A RESULT. These interventions by God may result in what we see as small, medium, or occasionally major miracles in our lives, whether for ourselves or for others we pray for.  Our thoughts (including faith), words and deeds on earth, freely chosen, have long-term consequences both on earth and in the afterlife.

To truly please God, we believe, one must have true faith in and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Lord, Savior and Redeemer in one’s heart, soul, and mind.  We believe that the roots of Salvation and eternal life are given by the grace of God but planted in such faith, not good works, as St. Paul writes (Ephesians 2: 8-9). But the fruits of such faith must be good works, as St. Paul continues (Ephesians 2: 10). God wants us to live a good life of discipleship that is modeled after Jesus’ life on earth and based on His commandments (Matthew 7: 15-23; John 14: 15, 21).

A true, born again, believer will see that this kind of Christian life is an ever-continuous form of worship of God and Christ, as St. Paul suggested (Colossians 3: 23). And being born again itself is a continuous spiritual growth process, according to St. Paul, not just a one-time event, unlike the physical birth of a baby (see I Corinthians 1: 18).

IF A PERSON HAS SUCH TRUE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND SHOWS IT IN HIS OR HER DAILY LIFE IN GOOD WORKS, THEN WE BELIEVE THAT GOD IS LIKELY TO DO MORE SPONTANEOUS OR PRAYED-FOR MIRACLES OF ONE SIZE OR ANOTHER FOR THAT PERSON (WHETHER FOR THAT PERSON DIRECTLY OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE PRAYED FOR).

THIS EXPLAINS GENERALLY WHY GOD DOES MORE MIRACLES (ESPECIALLY MAJOR ONES) FOR SOME PEOPLE THAN OTHERS. IT ALSO EXPLAINS WHY GOD ANSWERS POSITIVELY THE PRAYERS OF SOME PEOPLE MORE THAN OTHERS, IF AT ALL.  WHETHER OR NOT ONE IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN IN FAITH AND ACTION MATTERS TO GOD. THUS GOD REWARDS PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY ACCORDING TO THE DEGREE AND NATURE OF THEIR FAITH AND OF THEIR RESULTING GOOD WORKS.

Jesus said (John 14: 21; NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION/NIV): "WHOEVER HAS MY COMMANDS AND OBEYS THEM, HE IS THE ONE WHO LOVES ME. HE WHO LOVES ME WILL BE LOVED BY MY FATHER, AND I TOO WILL LOVE HIM AND SHOW MYSELF TO HIM."

Jesus also said (John 14:12-13; NIV): "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, ANYONE WHO HAS FAITH IN ME WILL DO WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING. HE WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE, BECAUSE I AM GOING TO THE FATHER. AND I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, SO THAT THE SON MAY BRING GLORY TO THE FATHER."

GIVEN ALL OF THE ABOVE, THE EXISTENCE AND DISTRIBUTION OF MIRACLES OF ALL SIZES IS NOT SUCH A MYSTERY AS MANY BELIEVE---PEOPLE WHO KNOW ONLY INSUFFICIENT SCRIPTURE AND THEOLOGY.
